Filtering an archive page

Hello, I have the following problem: on an archive page I have listed projects that were realized with our products. If you click on a project image, you will be taken to the corresponding project page. So far so good. Now the archive page should have the possibility to filter the projects according to different criteria. Practically it should be like on the portfolio page https://demo.theme.co/integrity-business/portfolio/. This is very easy to do with the “Essential Grid” plugin. I would now like to know whether the whole thing can also be done somehow with the portfolio page as a template or whether it can be realized with a looper and the query builder. By the way, how did you do the filtering on the portfolio page?

Hey Peter,

The filtering of the default Porfolio template and even the Essential Grid uses Javascript. Essential Grid has an option for AJAX filtering which cannot be achieved using the default Portfolio.
