Hello, is there an easy way to reduce the featured image size when the event is displayed?

By default, there are no options for that at the moment; it would require custom development. I suggest contacting a developer for assistance or subscribing to One, where customization questions are answered. Please note that we don’t provide custom development support, as it falls outside our support scope.
