Featured image parallax position and thumbnails

Hi,

I got the child theme from here (https://benryan.com.au/themeco-full-width-parallax-featured-image/) so I could have a Full Width Parallax featured image as the header for each blog post. I’ve used The Grid to display blog posts on my homepage and the thumbnails are showing my featured images.

When I view a post, the full width image displays the top portion of the image used which often isn’t appropriate. Is there a way I can change this, OR set it to use a different “Featured image” from the one The Grid will be using to display thumbnails?

Hello Ollie,

Thank you for the very detailed post information.

Please be advised that there can only be one featured image assigned to a post or a page. So in single posts, it will always display the assigned featured image. With the grid plugin will only allow you to have a default image and do not have any feature where you can change the featured image.
