Featured Image in Loopers - Select a Size?

With the new Looper system, we can do a row of, for example, featured images from recent posts. Problem is they are all the original image size - there seems to be no way to use the smaller thumbnails WP generates…

1. Is there some way to specify the smaller image sizes using the dynamic content looper element?
2. Is this coming in either the current beta or soon thereafter?
3. Do you know of any plugins that can do this as a workaround in the meantime?

We’re about to start a build and ran into this problem so we want to know if we should bother continuing or find another route…

The large hero is fine but the 3 smaller images are loading the full size 2000px+ image which is not good…

1.) Regretfully there isn’t a way to get smaller image size for the featured image at the moment. We already added this as a feature request.

2.) We do not have an ETA yet.
