So hear me out on this one!
I’m fine with how Pro is but the less technically minded that want to do odd jobs with cornerstone like update text or add an element really struggle with it. I wonder if a few visual helpers could assist with helping this group of users.
So to help UX (User Experience)
To make everyone happy a new user could be presented with a quick option for a preset.
“Are you a developer or designer…” etc. click load preset done. then you can toggle them later in preferences.
- Elements tab with Icons (I’ve made the UI wider to just fit in more)
- Div - option to be called Container?
- Floating Outline/Navigation so the inspector can be left open.
Because its floating Elements with icons becomes the default tab to open. - Elements and Templates (maybe ignore this )… could be grouped or just have a shortcut from Elements. rather than its own Tab
I love how cornerstone can save an image of a template as an Icon this would be so powerful to save a few Templates. Fave them then those appear as nice easy to use buttons with icons for the client right at the top.
I’m happy with Cornerstone but I’m having to convince collages because it doesn’t have big squishy buttons. interested to hear what others have experienced with clients and other users.
e.g. of icon examples
