Feature request: show or hide for touch devices / hoverless devices

I understand that there are a few different ways to do this, but having a toggle in the Customize section of an element, with the Hide During Breakpoints control, to have a toggle to forcefully hide or show the element for the pointer:coarse and hover:none CSS media queries.

This would be a massive addition to responsive design of sites, especially with iPads and touch devices being used much more frequently these days, and simple viewport width media queries are a bit lacking in this area!

Something along these lines would be a very welcome feature to have in Cornerstone

Hi @arthurodb,

Thanks for reaching out!

I will make a feature request so it might be taken into account in the future.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Hi @arthurodb,

Really great idea here. It’s aways off, but I want to explore possibly having an Element Visibility control that operates similar to the current Element Conditions, but for the front end only. This would allow more interactive and dynamic arrangements of elements. For example, you could have a message appear if the based on the total value of a WooCommerce cart. I’ve got some notes together for when we might get around to it, but that will likely be post Theme Options. What you’re describing here are excellent use cases to include. Meanwhile, you might want to just setup some helper CSS classes on your site that you can reuse.
