Feature Request: More flexibility with the blog layout

Hi,

I love X theme and use it with much pleasure. However I feel very limited with the blog layout / styles. You can’t change anything about the way the blog is shown without changing the whole stack.

It would be great if there would be more options for the styling and layout of the blog.

For example, I love the Cards skin and the wide variety of options that Elementor Pro has. You can set or hide the author images, future image, meta tags, summary and everything all to your needs. Plus the visual style is nice and clean and can be editted easily. It would be fantastic if the blog overview itself could be organized in such a manner.

Also I would like to have more flexiblilty on the single blog post page itself. For example, show the feature image in full width, or just as medium sized thumbnail on the left. Choose the meta tags that are shown. Choose to have it full witdh, with sidebar or centerned like: http://www.milesbeckler.com/recommended-courses

Love to hear what you guys think and hope there will be an X update that improves the blog features!

This would be a nice Option Set… +1 for that

I would agree with this, the blog options are too few and besides Ethos, IMO, not all that great. In previous themes I used, there were typically several layouts to choose from. (Both in terms of the feed and the actual blog posts.)

Another missing feature is an easy way to have separate blog ‘pages’ (feeds), much like you’d see with a ‘magazine’ type theme.

But… X has the components needed to work around this (at least for the feed pages)! You can use either The Grid or Essential Grid to create multiple blog feed looks, quite like the video, though not quite as easy to use as that looks.

Then you’re just down to customizing the look of the individual blog post itself.
