Feature Request: Dynamic Date + x days/month

Hi,

I have had a request from a client, which I believe is not currently possible with dynamic content. Currently, we use the dynamic content {{dc:global:date format="Y"}} to produce the current year and it is perfect!

This client has an eCommerce store where their products are updated each autumn (Fall ) to the next year’s version. Formerly, we had to change many, many dates in the content, but over the last year we have set the date to {{dc:global:date format="Y"}} wherever possible. However, this gives a time lag of up to two months between the date displayed on the website through dynamic content and the dates within the downloadable apps, because the following year’s content is usually updated to the following year in November of the current year.

My question / feature request is: would it be possible to create a dynamic date which projects to the future? For example:

  • {{dc:global:date+2Months format="Y"}} - When we enter November 2023, the year shows as 2024.
  • {{dc:global:date+60Days format="Y-m-d"}}, 60 days after today’s date, the date of 60 days in the future is displayed.

I hope this makes sense. I am sure it is something you guys can easily put in place!

All best,
Christopher

Hey Christopher,

That’s regretfully, currently, not possible. I’ll add your case to a similiar feature request.

Hey that’s very cool, +1 for getting something like that in.
