I would like to make a feature request to have an convert rows/columns from classic to current v3. I know I’m not alone in wishing for this. It would save a lot of time.

Thank you for the feedback.
The reason we have a distinction between the new row/column and classic is for backwards compatibility. We won’t be updating the new rows to have the old functionality as that was the point of the new row.

I understand that. As is now, you must rebuild existing sections/rows/columns if you want to take advantage of the new features. It would be nice to have option on a page/section basis to be able to click a button or option that would update a classic row/column to the current format.

Regretfully it doesn’t work that way. The new rows are built differently and thus you can’t automatically port over classic rows to the new functionality (thus the need for creating a new row and not simply updating the classic ones).
If you want to use the latest features you would need to rebuild the rows, however the classic ones will continue to work so most people simply use the new rows for future changes (if they want the new functionality). Ultimately the decision is up to you.
