Bottom sheets that slide out from the bottom and partially cover the page would be a great additional toggleable to add to CS. They offer a better UX versus modals on mobile devices. Perhaps modals could morph into bottom sheets somehow (via an option for that) and having snap points would be amazing.

Yes having the off canvas element open from the bottom would be cool. Unless I’m missing something, I think off canvas could do everything here. I’ll take a look a little bit before, or after we release Cornerstone 11. Have a great day.

Actual bottom sheets are different from Off Canvas: they typically slide up from the bottom with partial coverage, support native swipe/drag-to-dismiss, can stay persistent (background remains interactive), and often include snap points. Those behaviors give a more native mobile feel than a panel that simply opens from the bottom.
