I want a featured image on my pages, but I do not want it to display, but now all of a sudden they are displaying even with the CSS code. I want the image so when people share the page, but I DO NOT want it to display on my page itself. Ever since the new updates, they are displaying.

Thanks for writing to us.
By default the when you share the URL it renders the image from the page Featured Image. You can set the page Featured Image from here but it would be rendered on the frontend. In case if you don’t want to render it on the frontend you will have to hide it through the custom CSS code.
In case if you are using any SEO plugin like the Yoast SEO plugin you will get an option to add an image for the social thumbnail
