Feature image not full width

My main image on my About page used to be full width, then I switched to a different layout just to see how it would look, and now the image won’t go back to the full width of the screen. I’ve tried every configuration of parent pages, template layouts, nothing seems to work. Also, I need to have less of the image cropped out. I’d like to be able to see as much of the image as possible. Even when it spanned full width, a significant portion of all sides of the image was cut off.

I hope you can help me get this image looking good. I only want the image full width, the rest of the content on the page looks fine.

Thank you!

Hey @StacieB,

You’re using the Fullwidth template. Please use Blank No Container | Header Footer template so it will span fullwidth of the screen

Thanks.

I tried that, it made no difference… also a significant amount of the image is getting cropped on all sides.

Any other suggestions? I am not having this issue on any other page.

Hi There,

It’s a Cornerstone page that you’re referring to. Edit the page and select the relevant row and then switch off column container.

Hope that helps.

It was already off. I tried toggling it on and off, nothing changed. I’m stumped. All my other feature hero images are full width on all the other pages in my site. I don’t know what happened here. Any other suggestions?

Actually the entire page is not full width. I tried saving another page that is displaying correctly as a template and inserting it here, and it did the same thing, it goes to a “boxed” layout instead of full width. Just on this page only.

Hey There,

I have checked your other pages and they are using Blank - No Container page template. The about us page is using Layout - Fullwidth page template. I have tried to login to the site and would want to check the page. Regretfully the given credentials is not working for us. It seems that the username is invalid. Could you please double check it?

Thank you.

OK, I set it to Blank - No Container, and it worked! Now can you help me get the image to display the full width? It’s cutting off the sides.

Hi @StacieB,

Instead of using the element Image, add the image as background image to the section.

I have created it for you. I also added height to the section so that it will show properly.

Hope it helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.
