Feature image as page title background

Hi,

I want to have a feature image for a page display as background to title to achieve this sort of thing:
http://www.inyoga.com.au/membership
Would also like to increase the height of the page/ post title area

I am using renew stack and have setup child theme. http://meditateinvancouver.org/wp1/meditation-classes/

I found an example of this in forum for https://theme.co/apex/forums/topic/featured-image-as-background-to-post-title/
but this isn’t for renew stack. Can you please provide code for this? Thanks :grinning:

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully the title background is not feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer.

Though we provided some code before, it might not be applicable anymore and maintenance of it is not included in our support. Additionally, though we love to go above and beyond the scope of our support by giving custom code, it caused maintenance issues for us and confusion to other users.

You might want to check this article from an X theme user https://benryan.com.au/themeco-full-width-parallax-featured-image/ and contact him if you need help with customization.

We also do have an in-house custom development team that offer paid services, who may be able to assist. They can be contacted at [email protected] if this is of interest to you.

You can increase the height of the header landmark containing the title by adding this simple code in X > Launch > Options > Global CSS. Change 130px as per your needs.

.x-header-landmark {
    padding: 130px 0;
}

Thank you for your understanding.
