Favicons in text

Hi,

Ive looked through the knowledge base, but I cant find anything on this (and also cant even see how to search the knowledge base!!!)

Where do i find information about adding favicons to text? I want icons embedded next to text.

Cant see anything on this. Just a bit of constructive feedback, the knowledge used to be really clear with loads of videos. It seems to have taken a massive retrograde step. Is there really no way to search the knowledge base? Only searching for existing tickets and therefore know how people have written previous problems? Thats really poor. The knowledge base links are also an afterthought on the forum entry page. Surely the knowledge base should be your primary route for users and should be front and centre.

Sorry if this comes across negatively, I dont mean it to, its just I find this site pretty frustrating to get the basics done.

Thanks for your feedback. Constructive feedback is actually important.

Our knowledge base is currently undergoing an update and the Icon shortcode documentation might have been missed.

To your question, technically, a favicon is only for the browser’s tab display like the icons in the screenshot below.

What you need is only an icon and below are videos demonstrating adding an icon beside the text. The 1st one uses the Icon shortcode and the 2nd video uses HTML for areas where a shortcode is not allowed.
