Favicon Issue... "Site Identity" Missing

So, the favicon option is missing…

I followed the chain as suggested in other posts - “Apperance > Customize > Site Identity”

However “Site Identity” is not an option…

Even typing fav or favicon in the search bar returns nothing.

Thanks for reaching out.

I just noticed that your site’s resources are served from wp.com, in which a Wordpress.com hosted site. And the setting on their Wordpress is different than standard Wordpress installation. Please check this https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-icons/ and follow the instruction.

Not sure which site you’re referring too… (Especially since all my sites are WP installs on my own, or hosted servers)
