Favicon icon isn´t shown

Hello,
the favicon icon is placed in the customizer under site icons but it isn´t displayed anywere.
i use the actual x-theme. Site www.filmtierhof.de

Hi Andreas,

Thank you for writing in, please clear your wp rocket caching and all caching plugin and features that your site might have and if its possible clear it directly on your CloudFlare account. Also clear your browser’s cache.

i did that but there is no favicon shown.

Hi There,

Upon inspecting, I could not see the favicon code on your site. Could you please try disabling your 3rd party plugins and see if that helps. Also if you’re using a child theme, try switching to the parent theme to isolate this issue.

Hello,
i turned off the plugins and cleared the cdn chache. But no changes, i don´t use a child theme this time.
What´s next?

Yes the credentials worked this time. I checked your Customizer settings and you didn’t enter the path to the Favicon, I went ahead and entered a favicon for testing purpose and it worked fine, Please navigate to Appearance > Customize > Site Icons > Favicon and Set your own Path to Image

I thought the apple and the mircosoft icon below are enough for it and the path is just a manual possibility…
