Faux Tableau Template

How does one change the table contents when using the “Faux Tableau” template from Design Cloud? Also, can this be linked to a database table or can we bulk upload the records somehow?

Thanks for reaching out.
You can find the element named Department in the Page structure which contains the JSON values for the tables.

You can use the other options of Looper Provider to get those data from Post Types or else. Please find the detailed documentation and video on the Looper Provider.

Thanks. This looks like a pretty exciting new feature that has numerous powerful possibilities. I’m still learning this and struggling to implement a seemingly simple task.

In this table format, I would like to have two additional columns in addition to the existing ones.

• Column A: A button which says “Learn More” and upon clicking a modal popup window should open with some details specific to that particular record

• Column B: A link that redirects users to a new webpage. This link will also be unique to every record in the table.

How can I achieve this?

Optionally, is there a way to have the users enter their email address (say, in a popup form) before they are redirected to the new webpage when clicking on the link in Column B above?

What you are expecting is required customization and beyond the scope of the theme support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where the customization questions are answered.

Can I create pages in this same template?
For example, if I need to show only 10 such table records per page and add pagination if the number of records are more than 10?

Hello Deejay,

With the Looper feature that you need when you create a page using the same template, the pagination that you need if your table records are more than 10 items is not possible. The pagination element that we have in the builder will only work for archive pages.
