Fatal Error with cornerstone plugin

Unable to activate Cornerstone due to this error message in wordpress:

Hi @deanrix,

Thank you for reaching out to us. It seems like you already have renamed version of Cornerstone plugin, try removing all instances of Cornerstone completely via FTP and then install a fresh copy of Cornerstone plugin through X > Validation screen. Once you’re inside the Validation screen, on the top of the screen click on Click here to install and activate link (see screenshot)
