Hi,
I recently installed Pro on a clients’ site but when I try to activate the ‘Cornerstone’ plugin I get a fatal error message. Any advice? I did have the WPBakery builder active when I did it. I deactivated WPBakery and logged out and back in again but still not able to activate Cornerstone. Any advice?

Are you meant to have cornerstone on Pro anymore ? Try deactivating cornerstone and see if that helps, don’t worry I did the same thing the first time I activated Pro

Cornerstone is not needed in Pro so it should not be activated. Please login to your server usually via FTP and delete the cornerstone folder in your plugins folder.

Ok, that makes sense. Does that mean Cornerstone is activated by default? How does that work if I’m using WPBakery, as I’m more used to WPBakery. Is there anything I can do with Cornerstone that I can’t with WPBakery?

Pro has a built in content builder which replaces Cornerstone. For that reason you do not need the plugin to be active. Pro is built to be the most comprehensive and feature rich builder around so I would recommend giving it a try as you will find yourself creating stunning layouts effortless and with ease. We have great documentation and thanks to our Design Cloud many helpful templates and tools that make the content editor of Pro a great experience.
Ok. But do I need WPBakery to be deactivated in order for the built-in content builder to work?

No, you can have WP Bakery plugin activated while using the Pro Page Builder. The only thing that you need to consider is that as soon as you decide to use WP Bakery for a new page you can not use the Pro Page Builder for that specific page. And also if you decide to use Pro Page Builder for a page you can not use WPBakery for that specific page.
So the bottom line is that you need to keep editing a page with the builder that you choose when you create the page.
