Fatal Error Message on website

Hi. I have received a message from my Wordpress advising that there is a fatal error:

Current theme: Pro (version 5.0.8)

I have entered the web site in recovery mode, and tried to upload the theme again, but am getting a fatal error message.

Thanks for writing in! Please make sure that you have met the requirements to run the latest WordPress core and the latest version of the theme. Kindly check this out:

We highly recommend that you update your PHP version to 7.4 to get your issue resolved.

Thanks for your help. I have updated to php7.4 and yes I can now access the Wordpress Admin area without any difficulty. However, when I try and edit any page, or indeed view the site externally, I am just getting a blank page.
Posts that I have created outside of Pro are able to be edited OK.
Not sure what is happening

Hi Alex,

I would suggest you deactivate and delete Pro and reinstall it by downloading from your Theme Account and check if that issue exists or not.
If that does not help, there might be some different reasons behind your issue. I would like to suggest troubleshoot the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache

Hi and thanks for your assistance.
I deleted Pro from within Wordpress and then checked that the folder had been removed from my account. I then downloaded and reinstalled Pro, but the same issues persists.

I then disabled all installed plugins and again the issue still remains.

I will create a secure login for you

Its Ok - all sorted many thanks. It seems that some of the Wordpress Core files were corrupt… replaced and all now working. Thanks for your help
