Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted

If you visit you will be met with the error in the title. Siteground tells me the trouble is with the theme (or child theme) as I followed steps to disable all plugins and increase the WP memory limit as detailed here: https://www.siteground.com/kb/fix-fatal-error-allowed-memory-size-exhausted/

No solution with these methods. I cannot access the dashboard in this state, but Siteground disabled the theme and that solved it. I’ve since changed it back, so you will see the error upon visiting the site.

What’s the solution?

Ran into this issue myself with the X theme. Set the memory limit to 512M but that didn’t work either. Redownloading the entire zip package and installing the theme again solved it for me though. Seems as if the first download (themeforest) was somehow corrupted.
