Fatal Cornerstone Error

I’ve updated Pro, Cornerstone and all plugins as well as checked compatability and plugin conflicts, but no luck. Can you help me? Here is my error for my website www.juneberrymedia.com, an example of a broken page is www.juneberrymedia.com/portfolio

Hello,

I’m having a similar issue where the pages that don’t exist aren’t forwarding to a 404 page, but are showing that fatal cornerstone error. I checked your website but wasn’t able to spot that issue. Did you resolve this? If so, how was this resolved?

This hasn’t been resolved yet, no. The detailed error only appears when I try to do certain tasks (like clone a page) but I am seeing visual issues on www.juneberrymedia.com/portfolio so it’s having an external effect. I also cannot edit the headers or footers via Cornerstone.

HI @keatoncreative,

Can you try updating to Pro 5.1.1? Let me know if that resolves the issue. I’m seeing a similar error on your portfolio page that I’ve seen on other sites. There was a javascript error that was affecting some slider features, but looks like it might also have affected other things as well. Let us know if that corrects the issues on your portfolio page.

I don’t see the fatal PHP error though. What are you using to clone pages? Perhaps we could start there.

Thanks, @alexander. I updated to 5.1.1 but no change. I’m seeing similar styling errors on https://juneberrymedia.com/wedding-experience/ as well.

The page cloning was just an example that triggered the error code. I was using Yoast Post Duplicator, but even deactivating that didn’t help. Everything looks fine when logged in, but when logged out (even after clearing cache) it is incorrect.

The header image/text is incorrect, too, so it is not loading changes I’m making via Cornerstone.

@alexander thanks for your time! I was able to fix it by flushing the cache via my hosting panel. I’m sure upgrading to 5.1.1 helped, though I did upgrade to the latest version before writing so that one must have been quite new.

@ditcanada have you tried clearing your server cache? That’s what worked for me.

Hi @keatoncreative

Glad to hear it’s working again! Thanks for letting us know, and for the extra info on what solved it. I’m sure that will be helpful to others reading through the forum.

@keatoncreative I tried clearing the cache, but no luck. @alexander suggested that I update cornerstone once the new update was available. I updated and that seemed to do the trick.

Hi @ditcanada,

Glad to know that it worked for you.

Thanks
