X has this wonderful fade in animation built right into it to animate/fade in elements. Im however trying to fade in entire sections once you scroll down towards them. Does anybody know how to accomplish this?
I’ve seen a post one time, that showed X has much more animations. But they never explain how to use it. And there seems to be no support these days.
I think you can’t animate a section, as this is like a fundamental block to build a page. But you can animate the whole column inside a section. Can’t you achieve it with that?

Thank you for writing in, regretfully sections does not have the fade effect option.
While that is outside the scope of support, I could point you in the right direction with the understanding that it would ultimately be your responsibility to take it from here.
Add opacity: 0; on the STYLE field of your section, and a CLASS hideme and then copy the JavaScript from here (https://jsfiddle.net/tcloninger/e5qaD/) and paste it to your page’s JS. Just update the first line to this:
jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
