FacetWP integration

Hey there everyone!

I’m struggling with implementing the FacetWP plugin into the X-Theme. Especially integrating it into the “product-archive.php” since I want to use it with WooCommerce. I know this is probably an third-party plugin issue, but I implemented it before in another theme with the same procedure and it worked.

The instruction basically says:

• copy the original “product-archive.php” from WooCommerce /templates
• paste it into your theme folder and
• add a new class to this file:

<div class="facetwp-template">

I did that, but nothing changes in the shop page (basically the WooCommerce archive page)

What I also tried:

• copying the “product-archive.php” file into the child theme folder and a “woocommerce” subfolder
• copying the file directly into the child theme folder
• copying the file into the main theme folder and
• even overwriting the original one

Nothing changes. So the question is, do I have to rename the file maybe so X-Theme will recognise it or is there some other code I have to change?

Thanks for writing in! Based on the information that you have given, you might have used the wrong file name.It should be product-archive.php and its contents should be this:
