I’m an X Theme user, with my website blog located at https://www.joseramos.com/blog
I installed a simple SSL certificate from Comodo about a month ago, and since then my Facebook comments no longer work on the blog. I’m using the X Theme Facebook Comments plugin.
Could you please help solving this?

Thanks for writing in! Upon checking, I can see that your Facebook comments section is working fine. Refer to the screenshot here (https://snag.gy/x2aypB.jpg).
Could you please try clearing your browser cache before testing your site again and see if that helps.

As you can see on the main blog page, the number of comments doesn’t show up on each article.
For example, if you check this blog article - http://www.joseramos.com/nisi-100mm-filter-holder-for-laowa-12mm-lens-review-they-got-it-right/, it has some comments.If you go to the main blog page, where it used to show the number of comments, now it shows a “leave a comment” link, which used to happen when an article still had zero comments in it.
Anyway, this is not what’s worrying me the most. The main problem is that it seems that “comment mirroring” isn’t working, and it used to work before I installed the SSL certificate. https://www.facebook.com/business/help/community/question/?id=1725970011013124
How can I re-implement comment mirroring on my blog?

I did check main blog page and didn’t see any error. I can see you have W3 Total Cache plugin. Can you try to clear cache and then check again. If the issue persists, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look on your settings? Please provide following information:

I’ve just posted a secure note with the login information.
Like I previously said, I’m not worried about the comment counter. Right now my concerns lies in the “comment mirroring” function not working. I just made a few tests, by sharing blog links from different accounts, and the comments are not mirrored in the blog section. This is greatly decreasing blog reach and social media spread.

Is it really working before? I checked the comments in admin here https://www.joseramos.com/core/wp-admin/edit-comments.php and there are just 2 comments. The comments count displayed in blog home page is the count from those comments in admin.
I’m not really sure how Facebook’s comments mirroring works, but with that term, it should create duplicates right? But there are two comments so I’m not sure how it was working before. Or perhaps it only mirrors the comment from other comment plugins to Facebook comments, but not applicable as reverse like from Facebook comments to comment plugins. You may want to contact a Facebook developer as we don’t have control over Facebook comments system.

Yes, comment mirroring was working before. Those two comments you see on the admin panel are the classical wordpress blog comments left on the blog before I switched to facebook comments. Before switching to SSL the Facebook mirroring feature was working. When I posted a link to my blog on any facebook page, with a written comment, that comment would also appear on the respective blog page. When someone else shares my blog on any facebook page, that will also appear in the blog facebook comments.
Since I’m using your facebook comments plugin, I was hoping you could help me solving this.

Ah, then there is no connection with the theme or Wordpress at all. Changing from HTTP to HTTPS should have no effect at all since Facebook comments are always loaded in HTTPS regardless of site’s URL.
I also did some research/reading and I found that it’s not a stable feature. Have you tried contacting facebook developer? Maybe something is changed in your Facebook settings?
