Facebook and Twitter feeds have disappeared from my footer

Hi,

My Facebook and Twitter feeds have disappeared from my footer. I have tried disabling all the plugins (except Cornerstone) but they still are absent.

The website is www.geologistsassociation.org.uk/newgawpsite/

It would be great if you could help with this…

It looks like it was removed.

Try to re-add it under Appearance > Widgets > Footer 1..

Hi,

I initially added it on to the website through the x theme customiser. I haven’t touched the appearance > widgets option as I didn’t think I needed to? I’d appreciate any help, thank you

May I know where in Xtheme Customizer have you added it.

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password

Hi There,

Upon checking your website I could not find anything on your footer areas that could generate a twitter or facebook feed.

I am not sure what plugin you are using for it, but it is reccomedable that you place the shortcode of your twitter and facebook feed on Appereance > Widgets > Footer Widgets.

After that you can go to X > Theme Options > and set the correct number of widgets area you wish to have on your footer.

I’m such an idiot - I hadn’t realised that Jetpack was still deactivated…grrr!

But, how do I change the background colour of the footer from white to green please?

Hi,

To change it to green, you can add this in Theme Options > CSS

.x-colophon.top {
    background:#7fd14d;
}
