Extra space between footer widgets and bottom footer - Theme X

I’ve got some extra space WITHIN my footer. It’s between the widget area and the bottom footer I have turned on with the Copyright information. Any ideas where this is coming from?

I’ve checked for blank content within Cornerstone and the Widgets menu and see nothing. And adjusting padding in the CSS only seems to affect the outside areas.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Please add this code in the custom CSS:

.x-colophon.top {
    padding-bottom: 0;
}

.x-colophon.bottom {
    padding-top: 0;
}

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Jade! I wasn’t getting the right combination of code. Worked great!
