Extensions will not appear in plugins list

In X overview in the WP Dashboard, after i click “install” on any of the Extensions, it brings up the gray “Go Activate” button… After I click this, it brings me to the Plugins page, but none of the Extensions / plugins are appearing on the plugins page.

I’ve tried:

clearing browser cache
clearing server cache
deactivating all plugins to test for conflicts

I’ve also confirmed the plugins are not appearing in wp-plugins folder via FTP.

I’m using WPEngine hosting and the latest version of X. Secured note with login attached in case that’s helpful. thank you

Hello @COK,

Thanks for asking. Can you please try revalidating the theme? Revoke license and unassign site then validate again and see if you can install and activate plugins. Let us know how it goes.

You’re correct. This site was cloned from another install on my hosting account, and the issue stems from there…

I just chatted with our host and they mentioned finding a “WP TEMP DIR define in the wp-config file.”

After commenting this out, the plugins are now working.
