Extension install not recognised

Not all extensions are showing installed and activated even though they appear to be functional. I have just swapped over to Pro although I had similar issue with latest version of X. The installation of the theme was clean and not an update using FTP transfer of files and folders. There are 4 extensions not indicating installed and activated. Tried to install again but return message shows error folder exists. Deleting the extension and repeating install is still the same
