Expansion Pack - image gallery carousel slider

Hi,
I see Kory has dynamic content for the actual slides in the Image Gallery Carousel Slider, (see attached). While this is nice, is there a way to use specific images instead? When I try changing the background layer type to Background Image, it simply populates the entire gallery with that one image over and over.

It is not very clear about the setup you are using currently, can you please explain the steps to replicate it in the local environment. Or else, you can provide any URL where you have such a setup to investigate further.
