Exclude Current Term On A Button Using Conditions

Hi,

On a blog category layout, I have a button which uses dynamic data to display all categories - i.e. a row of buttons, each linking to a category.

In Conditions, I have set {{dc:term:name}} is not Uncategorized to make sure the Uncategorized category does not display. However, I am trying to also remove the category whose page the visitor is currently on. For example, if we have the categories “Psychology” “Medical” and “Holistic”, if we are on the “Holistic” category archive only the buttons for “Psychology” and “Medical” display.

I am sure this is something simple to achieve, but I cannot find the right string to do it.

Thanks,
Christopher

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for reaching out.
It is not very clear what problem you are having while comparing the conditions with the {{dc:term:name}}, if that causes the problem you can use Term ID and match it with the {{dc:term:id}} too. If that is not the case, please elaborate on the matter a bit for further assistance

Thanks

Thanks. I apologise for not explaining it better. Please see the screenshot, which should help you understand the question.

Thanks,
Christopher

Hello Christopher,

The features that you want would require custom development. I would suggest you please contact a developer who can assist you with your concerns or you may subscribe to One where customization questions are answered. Please note we don’t provide custom development support. It is out of the support scope.

Thanks for understanding
