I’ve defined a manual excerpt for each of my posts, but some of them are refusing to display in the search results like they should be. I’m not using the default blog interface to create my posts, but instead I’ve opted to use the Pro editor for this task. I’ve attempted to enter the excerpts in the default interface, as well as in the Pro editor settings to no avail. I’ve disabled every plugin to see if there was a conflict and there isn’t one that I can find. I’ve combed both the new forum, as well as the old version to come-up with an answer; however, nothing has been able to solve my problem. I’m at my wits end after two days of trying to fix this, and the time had come to reach-out to support to see if you could do anything. I will say again, this is related to posts, not pages, so it should be well within the scope of support. Thank you in advance. Here are my website’s credentials (if needed):
Hi @hayesfx,
Thanks for reaching out.
May I know which post or search keyword? I tried the search and they appear to have excerpts.
Thanks!
Search for the keyword: muay thai … all the posts in the We The Fighters category.
It’s come to my attention that none of the manual excerpts are displaying as they should be. I keep adding them to all the posts, but none of them are showing-up.
I was able to fix the other posts, but I am still having issues with the previous inquiry: “Search for the keyword: muay thai … all the posts in the We The Fighters category.”
This will be my final post to this thread.I didn’t realize the category was set to the 'Image Format", which was causing the search results to display with the image and title only, without an excerpt. I’m sorry to have wasted any of your time. It’s always the smallest things. Thank you for your time in any event.
