Example global stylesheet

Hello,

I am a bit new to X so I may be missing something. I understand that you can style elements using the local or global CSS, or within cornerstone using the GUI. I am creating a site with over 40 pages with a lot of text. The styling is in progress so I need a flexible solution where I can change the layout of all, say, buttons with one click.

I think editing from the Cornerstone GUI does not work because you can’t define variables. Presets is also not the solution because you can’t change the preset afterwards. Only solution seems to be a large global stylesheet. Am I right? How do other people do this?

I am looking for a nicely structured stylesheet with the basics, like H1-H6, buttons (primary, secondary), form controls, alerts, etc… Perhaps with SASS?

Thank you for reaching out to us! I believe you’re looking for Theme Options where you can style your theme globally. To explore theme options you can go to X > Theme Options. Some options are global (i.e, change the same setting across every post/page on the website). Others are page or page template specific, for example, you might edit a setting that only effects WooCommerce pages or the blog/archive page.
