Ethos Portfolio index issue: Stacks featured images on top of each other

Hi! You can see the issue on this page: https://www.dentalspeakerinstitute.com/members/ when you scroll down and/or make the browser window narrower. The featured images used to move in a responsive way, but now they do weird things. It partly works, and party stacks images on top of each other, leaves blank spots, moves them to the side… There have been errors on mobile view too.

Can you please take a look and let me know what the issue could be? I updated everything to the latest versions just a couple of days ago, and that’s when the issue appears to have started.

Hi @Omwoods,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the given URL in my Android mobile device and made the screen smaller in the Browser but didn’t find any issues you described. Can you please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem?

Thanks

The issue still persists for me on Chrome and Safari. I had no issues on Android phone, but my client said they had issues on mobile too (am not sure which phone they have). Here are two screenshots:

Hi @Omwoods,

Sorry that the issue can’t be recognized at my end. But, this is a known issue with the latest version of the theme and has already been reported to our issue tracker for further investigation by the development team.

Thanks

Got it! Is there any kind of emergency code you could provide meanwhile to fix the issue, or somehow make it less visible? CSS, PHP…? Thank you kindly!

Hello @Omwoods,

We are very sorry, we don’t have a temporary fix at the moment. We have already reported the issue and the issue is in our issue tracker for our development team. There is no ETA at the moment so I would request you, please stay tuned for succeeding theme updates.

Thanks for understanding

Alright. Then let me ask you, what’s the best protocol to roll back to an earlier version of X theme which doesn’t have this issue? I imagine I’ll need to roll back the Cornerstone version too. How to do that, to rollback? And, do you know which version is safe to roll back to and doesn’t have these issues with Ethos portfolio index?

Hi @Omwoods,

You can download the Previous version from your Themeco Account dashboard and then you need to follow the below instruction to install the older version.

  1. Activate the Default theme
  2. Delete the existing X and the Cornerstone.
  3. Install the downloaded version.
  4. After the X theme is installed, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be at the compatible version for that specific version of the theme.

Or else, you can restore it from the backup, if you have any.

Hope it helps.
Thanks
