Ethos child theme widget image scale is not working

When I try to scale the image in the widget in the main sidebar the scale doesn’t work properly. It’s cropping instead of resizing. I tried to figure it out myself but I don’t know how to solve this. I think it’s a theme issue instead of a WP issue.

Update: I don’t know what happened…suddenly I know what to do. I want to delete this post but don’t know how. Therefor this update.

Update: Ok now it’s realy getting strange. I had an adjusted picture scale. I tried to scale it once more…now the picture isn’t visable on my website…

Hi Ellen,

Thanks for writing in! Upon checking, it seems that you have enabled maintenance mode or a coming soon page on your site.

If you’re using a caching plugin, please make sure to purge your server cache and re-test your issue again. Also check the file path and make sure you can access your image directly (it may have corrupted, in that case you will need to re-upload). Also make sure to clear your browser cache before testing.
