Ethos Carousel Blank White out

Hi, I change Wordpress language English to Japanese then Ethos Carousel can turn on but all white blank. What is the issues? How to fix it?

Hi Razick,

Thank you for reaching out to us. A white screen usually means there is a fatal PHP error. Can you please enable WP_DEBUG mode? You can do this by opening wp-config.php and adding the following code just above /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

When you revisit the page with the white screen, you should have some error output describing the issue in more detail. In the mean time please check for the following too:

1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/docs/product-updates for more details.

2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

4. Remove custom CSS, JavaScript and deactivate your child theme and switch to parent theme (take a complete backup first).

hi thanks, I enabled WP_DEBUG and checked, got some error on top. herewith attached a screenshot could you please check and solution to fix it?

Please make sure that your posts has been translated to English and Japanese. If the posts does not have any translations, it will not display in the translated language thus displaying blank. If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

thanks, my site only Japanese version, not installed any translation plugin yet. I created post in Japanese. slider and others work. only carousel is white. here with attached Wordpress login details in secure note. please check

Hey Razick,

Thank you for providing the credentials. I logged in to your site but couldn’t check the settings because the rights are too limited. Can you please grant us the admin rights so we can take a look at your setup.

In the mean time, go to Theme Options > Ethos, turn the Post Carousel On and under Display setting, select Random (see screenshot)
