Looks like there’s something buggy with this design cloud Content. Added the template in a blank page and the image background is loading an Undefined Element - and then it freezes the customizer if you go and try to look at it - screenshot below:

It seems that you are using the older version of the Pro theme(3.1.0) and the latest version of the theme is 4.3.3. It might be the issue of version compatibility. I would suggest you update your theme to the latest version. In case if you have not seen our doc on how to update the theme please have a look at it.
It is always a good practice to take backup of databases and files before updating the theme or plugin or WordPress core. It would be best if you could copying your live website to your staging area. and then update the theme. After the theme update, you should try to install the design could template.
