Essential Grid - YouTube Shortcode Parameters

Hello Team

I am looking to add a youtube channel feed ess grid to my user’s profile pages. The user enters their youTube channel ID and API Key in a custom field which I want to use to display their feed.

I am aware there are other plugins which include this parameter in the shortcode however I have not found any information how to achieve this using essential grid.

e.g.
[ess_grid alias="youtube_feed" channelid="USER_ID" apikey="YOURKEY"]

Please help.

Hi Stefan,

It is possible to add an Essential Grid on a page using a shortcode but the way you are trying to do it is not possible since you can set if it is a Youtube Feed from the Essential Grid settings:

Be advised that when you create a custom grid, it also automatically generates a shortcode:

Regretfully the plugin does not allow custom grid shortcodes like what you are trying to do. It may be possible only with custom development. This would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this.
