Essential grid - wpml - sorting

Hi there,

Here’s the thing, I have a translated site here with a page with Essential Grid on it.

Right order using CUSTOM META:

Translated page with wrong EG order:

Thing is, I’m trying to create a translation of the custom meta, but it won’t let me create any custom meta in english.

Any idea why this might be the case?

Thanks for writing in!

It is important to mention that The Essential Grid plugin is not officially compatible with WPML if we search for it here:

As a workaround, you can try to create a different grid and custom meta per language.
Once you created the translated grid, you can use the shortcode of the translated grid in the translated page/product.

Hi there,

Thanks for the tip.
Thing is, it won’t allow me to create ANYTHING as far as I can see in the english language. No meta, no grids, no translations. If I change something in an existing grid in english, it deletes the content in the hungarian version.

The weird thing is, that translations work for all of my essentials grids, except for 1.

I made a video to quickly show off the issue. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey @Pbalazs89,

We understand your concern. However, we could not provide support for this as both are third-party plugins. Though one is bundled, we are limited to supporting its core functions only without 3rd party plugin involvement.

You will need to purchase Essential Grid directly and ask help from their support. They might uncover a conflict with WPML and they will work with WPML directly.

I hope you’ll understand our position on this.
