Essential Grid won't sort

Hi Themeco,

I’m having an issue with Essential Grid where my gallery won’t sort by anything except random and title.
Below is the screenshot of my sort setting.

I’m trying to sort them by newest first but the order just wouldn’t change.

Sometimes the only screenshot doesn’t help us to recognize the issue you are having. We need to examine your site to determine the cause of the issue. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

What I’m trying to say is the grid is not sorting gallery by newest first. In my screenshot I showed that I want to Start Sorting by Date and the Sorting Order is Descending.

In your video, you’re filtering the grid by category that I set up. That part is indeed working fine.

My issue is the grid won’t sort by date and nothing changes when I change between ascending and descending.

Hey Stigan,

Upon investigating your Essential Grid, you are using the Custom Grid and then the Custom Grid only has the title that’s why only the Title or random is working.

You can try to fill in the date and see if it fixes your sorting issue.
