Essential Grid - Vimeo Stream - Thumbnail Cover Photos Blurry

Hello - After looking though various threads and searches without any success in resolving my issue I am writing to see in the following can be easily accomplished:

Is there a way to pull a higher resolution Cover thumbnail from Vimeo to be displayed on my Website?

I am streaming Vimeo albums on my website and all the cover thumbnails photos look blurry on my website.

On Vimeo I updated my cover photos with cleaner higher resolution images but the cover thumbnails on my website are still blurry.

I noticed that on the settings section of of the Essential grid there is a Line Item called Grid Image Size. I believe if there is a way i could increase the grid image size from Large (640px) wide to (EX) XLarge (1920px) the image pulled from Vimeo would no longer be blurry.

Please Advise.

Hey Greg,

That could be. However, the max is 640 for the stream and there’s no option in the Essential Grid to increase it.

It’s best you consider a different method to display your videos. The Video element with Player as the Video Type would be a better choice for this as you can set your own Poster image so you have total control.
