Essential Grid to change Blog Page

Hi! I would like to use the Essential Grid plugin to change the layout of my blog page, but the grid is not reflected on the blog page despite using the short code.

Hello Penny,

Thanks for writing in!

Can you please confirm the login details as I am getting ERROR: Invalid username. Lost your password? error message?

I checked the blog page and can see the issue with the grid layout. Further checking the page in dev tools I see following error message The page at '<URL>' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure font '<URL>'. Please take a look at solution shared in following thread and let us know the outcome:

Thanks.

Hi

I have done this:

Go to Settings > General and make sure that your site URL and WordPress address url is using https.

Both are using https.

Additionally, this appears on my home page at the top left hand corner: [rev_slider alias=“1”]. How do I get rid of it?

Thanks.

Hey Penny,

Since you are using Essential Grid for a page, you will have to unset the blog page as the post page because once a page is set a the post page, the page will automatically use the template file for the blog page.

So please go to WP Admin > Settings > Reading then unset the Post page.

Hope this helps.

Thank you. I have solved the issue and the grid is now reflected.

Can I check if this issue is resolved?

Also, how do I get rid of [rev_slider alias=“1”] at the top of my homepage?

Hello Penny,

Thanks for updating the thread

Yes, I inspected the page in dev tools and I don’t see above error message showing up. You can also use Mozilla or Chrome dev tools to inspect website and pages. Please take a look at following resource to learn more:
