Essential grid templates

Hiya
I bought an essential grid licence so I could use the templates and I added the code to the functions file so that I could put in the licence code.

I’m trying to embed a grid on the front page but it is not showing up. I can see the grid in the selector but I don’t see it on the live site

Any ideas appreciated.

Hey @lisacole1,

Since you’re now using the standalone version of the Essential Grid, we need to know first if the theme is conflicting with it. Please do the following test:

1. Insert the Essential Grid shortcode in a Text, Content Area, or Classic Raw Content element. If the grid works at this stage, it could be an issue with the Essential Grid element.
2. Insert the Essential Grid shortcode the default WordPress editor of a test page. At this stage, there could be a conflict with the grid and the builder. Further test if other grids work.
3. Switch to the parent theme and check the test page in step 2. A custom function might be conflicting.
4. Do step 3 using the default WordPress theme. There could be a conflict with the theme.

If the grid still does not work after the steps listed, it’s most probably an issue with the grid setup. In this case, you’ll need to forward this to ThemePunch’s support.
