Essential Grid Templates Manually Install?

Hello

I have installed the essential grid plugin. Since it was bundled into the theme, I can’t install the templates unless I do it manually. How do I install the templates manually?

I’m not sure what you mean by manually, you can only manually export and import grids but not templates. The templates are usually installed through the library which usually requires a license that you bought directly from the Essential grid author. The import from grid templates feature from skin editor is automatic, it imports the templates from the Essential Grid server but not for other templates that require a license.

Even though it’s a bundled plugin, we don’t have control to which templates will be provided as free. They are stored from their server and not on our server. May I know which templates you’re trying to import?

Since its a bundled plugin, do I still need to pay for the license? Or do I only get to use it with limitations? All of the templates that I tried to install require me to register the plugin. I wasn’t able to install any of them.

Hi Chris,

You do not need to purchase a separate license for the bundled plugins as you should be able to use their main features. However, these plugins also offers some premium feature that is not included in the standard license with X so you will have to get a standalone license if you want to use the premium features.
