Essential Grid > Stream > Vimeo: no videos showing up!

Hi,

I am a bit shocked by how I can’t seem to get the videos showing up on the ESsential grid. It seems so straightforward.

Just adding the user ID which is: amaravativideo (https://vimeo.com/amaravativideo)

I had one working, but somehow it doesn’t seem to do anything anymore even when creating a new essential grid entry.

Could you just help me with creating 1 essential grid entry that actually can load the vimeo videos? I suspect something else is happening. In the secure not there is more info.

Hey Amaravati,

Upon checking, your grid isn’t loading so it’s best that this gets fixed first. You have lots of plugins and I believe one of them is causing the said issue. Please first test if this issue is coming from our theme or the Essential Grid itself. Perform all the basic troubleshooting procedures mentioned in our Common Issues article here: https://theme.co/docs/common-issues

Hi there. Thanks for checking this out. The essential plugin is working fine: https://www.amaravati.org/news/

We have many instances on this site using this plugin. What I am referring to is that I can’t get the stream of Vimeo being the source for the Essential Plugin. If I choose a post or other source, I don’t seem to encounter any issues. I am specifically not getting any traction with Vimeo & Essential Grid.

Hope you can have a more closer look at this specific issue that I seem to encounter.

I have tested it on my site and it is working:

I then created the same grid on your site and yes it is not working. This means a conflict somewhere. Please try the plugin conflict test from the the previous common issues article shared. Make sure to clear cache after that. Do let us know how this goes.

Thanks confirming that it works and that it doesn’t work.

Went and tried a plugin called Vimeography. They seem to show the error:

I emailed Vimeo. Will see what they have to say about this.

Is there any particular sensible way to debug Essential Grid?

I got an answer from Vimeo. Our IP address was blocked because there was a large amount of requests so they blocked it. This site is on a shared hosting, so we contacted our hosting to check with them. Vimeo also unblocked it after a while. So it works again.
