Essential Grid sort option

Hi,

I’m using Essential grid with Portfolio items, which works very well. But I want to customize the sorting of the entries on the page (I don’t want to offer the sort option to the user!). How can I do this? I did not find any other option, than the sort option to offer for the user.

Hi Nabeel,

I created a custom meta data field and put numbers in every portfolio item. Then I sorted the essential grid to this custom meta data field. And in the essential grid edit mode preview the order is perfect. But on the website the order is another. How can this be? Its like the elements in a line are the right ones, but in a different order (not from left to right).

Would you mind providing the exact URL where the grid is? I like to see it first, or perhaps your layout is a masonry? Because, in the masonry, it may fill the gaps due different heights of each item and it may look ordered differently since the other items may appear higher than the other,
