Hello!
After the last X updaten, Essential Grid displays not the posts of the named feed anymore - but of another feed! Before that, all was fine…
At “Instagram User” I put my username (martinziaja) but Ess.Grid shows me the feed of martin_ziaja! Can you help me?
Thanks in advance
Martin
Hey Martin,
Thanks for writing in! I can see that you already have updated to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.
If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings and investigate further. Please create a secure note with the following info:

– WordPress Admin username / password

Hello Martin,
After further investigation, I ended up enabling the “JS to Footer” option in the Global Settings of Essential Grid, Ess. Grid > Global Settings. The grid now displays.
Please check your site now.
Hi Ruenel,
I’m sorry, it did display all the time, but it shows the wrong feed! It should display “martinziaja” but it fetches “martin_ziaja”… The weird thing is, checking it this morning, it worked and now - after updating X it shows the wrong feed again.
Hello @martinziaja,
I have checked again and it is displaying the correct stream. It could be just a stream cache or something.
Best Regards.
Hi @ruenel,
sorry, but I’ve checked on several computers/mobiles - it still shows “martin_ziaja”…
I emptied all the caches I know and still the wrong feed… Any idea? I already asked instagram, but didn’t get a reply.
If it is like this I have to disable the plugin - I don’t want to show some offer person’s insta feed on my photography business site.

Hey @ruenel,
thanks for your help man, but it took me too long now. I switched back to The Grid and fetch my feed via this plugin.
It won’t fetch my username at all, but I can work with my hastag, which works too…
Regards
Martin
Glad to hear you managed to find a workaround, Martin.
Cheers!
Hi @jade,
just for your interest: The Grid also fetched the wrong username (‘my_name’ instead of ‘myname’). So I switched temporarily to another plugin which gives me less control yet shows the correct feed…
Regards
Martin
