Essential grid: posts missing

Hi there —
I’m trying to use posts as source for Essential grid and I may be missing something but I can’t have all posts displayed (regardless of category or tag), some are not, and I can’t make sense of how it gets filtered.

I’ll follow-up with urls and login info.

Thanks for writing in!

I’ve spent almost an hour checking your grid settings and I found out that you only set one row to display which is why no matter what you choose,you only have 3 items. I changed your settings and made it to display 4 rows.

Please check your page with the grid now.

Hey @ADBL,

Here’s what’s happening. The English version of your grid has 8 posts. I see 8 posts in the English version of the page (see secure note).

The French version of the grid has 11 posts and I see 11 posts listed in the French version of the page so there’s no problem here also.

If you wish to display all posts, you need to clear the categories filter because that’s what the blog page does. It does not filter posts. Still, take into account the language as they are separated.

Your current English blog page has 11 posts (8 Press Coverage category + 4 Tidbits category). Try counting the French version and compare it to the Essential Grid setup.

I’m really sorry, I must be missing something as I’m not seeing all posts even after clearing categories in EG. More in the private note.

Hey @ADBL,

You’re most probably looking at the wrong language. The English grid now shows 11 posts. That is the same as the English post page (see screenshot in the secure note). You’ll see that both the grids and post pages of both languages have the same number of posts.

English Grid and English Post Page both display 11 posts. You have 12 English posts and 1 of them is in Draft Mode and draft posts don’t show up in the front-end.

The French Grid and French Post Page both display 14 posts.

Please count again and this time, please focus on the language.
