Something bizarre is going on with our essential grid install. We have it set to use posts and have assigned a meta value to the items in order to sort them as we want them to appear, it’s working for everything with the exception of item 4 - for some reason, it’s sort of defaulting the newest items to place as item 4. I have tried deleting posts and readding them, assigning numeric values as to how I want them to appear, and it’s almost like the grid is overriding the meta settings. Or something.

I have logged in and investigated your grid. It turns out that the featured images is not of the same height and the post titles as well. Be advised that the grid settings is Boxed and Masonry which means that once the masonry script kicks in, it will automatically align and rearrange the post items just to make sure that it fits right into the page. In most case, it will not follow the order of the grid. If you want to strictly follow the order of the items, you should select “Boxed” and “Even”.
Anyways, I made some changes to your grid. I change the featured image size and then I disabled the SiteAccelerator option in Jetpack plugin.
