Essential grid page is not loading complete

Hi,

On the front end, the page is not properly displaying all the posts,
only when I resize my browser window, the last posts are showing in the right way…
any help as to how to fix this?
Can’t expect all visitors to resize there browser window

I have checked your website normally and by resizing too but didn’t find any differences between those. I would request you please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem.

You are having this behavior because you are using Masonry for the Grid Layout.

Use “Even” or “Cobbles” and see how it displays your grid.

Is there no way to make it work properly then?
Because the first '3 rows ’ work just fine,
it’s when you scroll down the displaying don’t work correct.

What is causing this problem exactly because

You are having this behavior because you are using Masonry for the Grid Layout.

feels unsatisfying to me, Basically you are saying don’t use Masonry?
Then why have the option, you know what I mean?

  Never mind, I figured it out, Lazy load Off does the trick, combined with Pagination disabled and Infinite scroll on, the problem is solved

One more question though, the excerpt is placed in the bottom dropzone
and would like to appear beneath the image,
but somehow it overlaps the image and content.
Is there a way to fix this?

You will have to edit your Grid Skin and add some margins for the Excerpt layer.

Sorry, but that doesn’t work, it only overlaps the image more or less,

I check your homepage where the essential grid is located and I don’t see the overlapping image in the content anymore. That being said, I suspect that you have already figure it out, if not, please let us know.

Correct, I’ve changed the content position and placed all the elements inside,
This changes the lay-out to have it working correctly,

but would love to figure out how to have this set-up working correctly, from top to down;

1. Content: title, date
2. Image
3. Excerpt

Where Excerpt is not overlapping the image and/or the content…
any other suggestions?

Hello @MeesterOntwerpers,

You will need to edit your Essential Grid Skin and then make sure that your Excerpt is positioned as Relative and displayed as Block.

Thanks but unfortunately that doesn’t work either,
I’ve “played” with settings in different variations but somehow when the excerpt is placed outside the Content area it’s position overrules display and block does not work…

I have investigated thoroughly and found that the reason behind your problem might be the Pagination Settings of your Grid. I would suggest you enable the Pagination instead of Load More and check if that resolves your problem.
